This Privacy Policy explains how Rostido collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our Platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, password), social media account data (via OAuth tokens), content you create or schedule, and usage data (features used, interactions). OAuth tokens are used solely to perform actions on your behalf within the scopes you authorize.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to provide and improve Rostido's services: automate comments/posts/DMs, display analytics, send service emails, and troubleshoot issues. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Third-Party Services
Rostido integrates with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) via their APIs. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their respective privacy policies and terms. We do not control how those platforms handle your data.
5. Data From TikTok
When you connect a TikTok account to Rostido, we access only the data needed to provide the scheduling and publishing features you use, through TikTok's Content Posting API and Login Kit. Specifically: (a) basic profile info (display name, username, avatar, and public account stats) via the user.info.basic, user.info.profile, and user.info.stats scopes, used to show which TikTok account you're posting as inside Rostido; (b) the video/photo files, captions, and post settings (privacy level, comment/duet/stitch toggles, commercial content disclosure) you submit through Rostido's compose screen, sent to TikTok via the video.publish scope to publish the post you explicitly reviewed and confirmed; and (c) OAuth access and refresh tokens, stored encrypted, used solely to make these authorized API calls on your behalf. We do not access, read, or store any TikTok content, comments, or account data beyond what you directly create or schedule through Rostido, and we never post, edit, or delete anything on your TikTok account without your explicit action in the app. TikTok data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train AI models. Disconnecting your TikTok account from Rostido (Settings → Connected Accounts) immediately revokes our access tokens and deletes the associated TikTok profile data and stored content from our systems within 30 days.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your Rights
You may access, update, or delete your data at any time via your account settings. You may request data export by contacting us. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies may be used if you opt in. You can control cookie preferences in your browser settings.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
